The Tiempo Climate Cyberlibrary was developed by Mick Kelly and Sarah Granich on behalf of the Stockholm Environment Institute and the International Institute for Environment and Development, with sponsorship from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.

African Centre for Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD)
The objective of ACMAD, located in Niamey, Niger Republic, is to contribute to sustainable development in different socio-economic sectors in the continent of Africa through investigations of meteorological and climatological domains. Main activities include short- and medium-range weather forecasting, climate monitoring and seasonal forecasting and training.

Center for International Climate and Environmental Research - Oslo (CICERO)

Coral Reef Research Institute

Energy Research Centre for the Netherlands (ECN)
ECN develops high-level knowledge and technology for the transition to sustainable energy management.'Site contains summary information on new forms of energy technology.

Environmental and Societal Impacts Group (ESIG)
ESIG is a multidisciplinary research group focusing on the impacts of society on the environment and of the environment on society, based in Boulder, Colorado, United States. International Scientific Council for Island Development
The International Scientific Council for Island Development (INSULA) was formally created in 1989 as a non-governmental organization whose aim is to contribute to shape island awareness and develop islands' common future, supporting necessary cooperation and information actions in the scientific and technological fields. INSULA publishes the magazine INSULA, the International Journal of Island Affairs and manages a forum of debates and exchanges

Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development
Located at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. Acts as a focal point for integrated regional and global studies of environment and development issues affecting small island states. Covers teaching, research and consultancy.

Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment and Security
The Pacific Institute is a non-partisan research institute that works to advance environmental protection, economic development, and social equity, recognising that the pressing problems of environmental degradation, poverty and political conflict and fundamentally inter-related and long-term solutions require an interdisciplinary perspective. Security and adaptation are focal areas.

Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research
The mission of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research is to investigate the consequences of global climate change as a paradigm for the unfolding fundamental crisis between the ecosphere and the human society. Particular attention is paid to regional aspects such as the consequences of changed temperature and rainfall pattern for Central European agriculture and forestry.
