It proposes an approach for assessing vulnerability to climate change and climate variability, developing and implementing adaptation options, and integrating options into programs, development plans, and projects at the national and local levels. AdaptNet is a community of adaptation specialists, sharing the latest information on adaptation strategies, measures, tools, research and analysis, and highlighting best practice and implementation. It focuses on cities in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, but nested within the global network of cities.

Assessments of Impacts and Adaptations to Climate Change in Multiple Regions and Sectors
The website synthesizes information on the sectors, systems, and groups studied, methods utilized, and key results of the 24 AIACC (Assessments of Impacts and Adaptations to Climate Change in Multiple Regions and Sectors) projects in the Americas, Africa and Asia.

Capacity Strengthening of Least Developed Countries for Adaptation to Climate Change (CLACC)
The CLACC network is a group of fellows and international experts working on adaptation to climate change for least developed countries. The aim is to strengthen the capacity of organizations in poor countries and support their initiatives in sustainable development through the network of fellows. CLACC operates in 15 countries in the South, 12 in Africa and three in South Asia.

Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre coordinates the Caribbean region's response to climate change. The Centre is the key node for information on climate change issues and on the region's response to managing and adapting to climate change in the Caribbean.

Climate Change and Development Links, from the International Institute for Environment and Development, describes the independent evolution of climate change and development discourses, and provides some explanation as to why the two fields have operated largely independently from one another. Climate Prep
Climate Prep, from WWF, defines climate change adaptation through illustrations of on the ground adaptation projects and scientific adaptation studies, explorations of adaptation concepts, and tracking firsthand the progress of adaptation in the international policy arena.

Climate Ready Estuaries
The Climate Ready Estuaries website offers information on climate change impacts to different estuary regions, access to tools and resources to monitor changes and information to help managers develop adaptation plans for estuaries and coastal communities.
